MAY 16, 2012 - MAKING AN IMPRESSION
When people look at your brochure or website, they often decide right then and there what type of business you have and what kind of person you are. They quite frequently also determine whether or not they want to do business with you. Remember, this is all before you’ve even had a chance to say hello!
For example, take two glasses of whiskey. Give people a taste of cheap Old Crow whiskey, and tell them it's Old Crow whiskey. Then give them another taste of Old Crow, but this time tell them it's Jack Daniels. Ask them which they prefer. They'll think the two drinks are quite different. They’re not just tasting whiskey – They are really tasting images!
The effectiveness of your brand sets the price point and the value of your product or service. It affects how people perceive your company and whether you will get their business or not. Making a positive and lasting impression is paramount if you want to develop connections with your customers. They will decide in a matter of seconds as to whether you are going to be their partner in crime, or whether your advertising will end up in the circular file. That’s your hard earned dollars either being maximized, utilized or squandered. So put your brand to good use – with a well designed logo, brochure or website.
